YWAM Support Raising Newsletter November 2007

Support Raising Newsletter Tip:

Be sure to write and send your newsletter even when you are on the road - even if you are back home visiting! You may not get to see everyone, and it could lead to some diving fundraising appointments while you are at home.

Dear !fname:

Grace & Peace to you in the power-packed name of Jesus!

Being back in the USA is wonderful. Getting over jet-lag,and then still adjusting to some culture shock - but allworth it to see our adult children and grandson, and Curt'sparents and our good friends.

We didn't realize how much the last 2+ years had takenout of us until we got here. We are soaking in peaceand rest, but also enjoy sharing our Fiji report inseveral churches and gatherings while we are here in IL.We will email you our speaking schedule as soon as thedetails are finalized.

Please continue to pray for the 17,000+ souls that madedecisions to follow the Lord Jesus. Pray that the seedtakes root and produces fruit, and that the enemy is thwartedfrom stealing the seeds. One of the pastors I met with after the events went to a remote village to follow upon someone that got saved. The first visit, 5 others thatalso got saved, but didn't fill out forms, joined them!On his next two visits the group grew to over 30 peoplehungry to hear the Word of God! The local Methodist pastor is letting them use his building even though mostof them don't attend his church. I love this pastor, heis very poor and gave EVERYTHING he had for the IWT tour -even taking the food off the shelves for his familybelieving God would bless him for it! He walks to thisremote village.

We are also operating under strongprophetic words that these young people in the nation ofFiji will be rising up in the last days as mighty warriorssent into Asia (China, India, Japan, etc.) as part of theend times harvesters. We will be involved in this in thedays ahead - training and equipping young people for thefinal hours! (I think back when I got out of the USAFA - United States Air Force Academy - I asked the Lord why Hehad sent me there to experience and learn many uniquethings you only learn at a military academy; He said to me: "I am preparing you for the end times." I can see now that our role will be one of equipping and trainingthis young generation of warriors.)

Although it was joyous to see so many come to the Lord duringthe IWT tour, a side benefit was the work we were able to do seeing the churches unite and labor together. Many of the pastors said to me during and afterwards howgrateful they were for our work as it was the first timethe churches had come together in their town or villages. Many of them now have formed groups in their towns tocontinue to meet and pray together to see the KINGDOMadvance in their areas. Praise the Lord! (Again our laborin Rockford in the early days of the 80's of intercession andspiritual warfare in seeing the Churches work togetherproved valuable for this task in Fiji. I referred to theceremony we held on one of the Bridges in Rockford aspart of the plan for our city. If you don't remember that- ask me about it - it was an intense, but glorious timefor Rockford.)

So - we are very appreciative of God's grace upon the journeyHe is leading us on; and so blessed by those who are enablingus to follow this path through prayers and financial support. The support you provide goes to these endeavors and pastorslike the one you read about above.

The Kingdom of God will continue to grow in numbers andpower. The hordes of hell can not stop it. We all get to bea part.

"To donate to a missionary or a fund please

1) make checks payable to "YWAM".

2) Please write their name on a separate piece of paper or sticky note as follows "for the support of ...(full name of missionary) in ...(city & country)" For U.S. citizens this is very important as the IRS will not consider it as a donation to our non profit organization if the person's name is on the check & thereby the gift will not be considered tax deductible.

3) Mail check to: YWAM
