| October 2008 Greetings Loved Ones! As mentioned in our last newsletter, Kay is back in the USA visiting our kids and grandson. She spoke at our home church, Forest City Fellowship, that we founded in 1990 and that sent us out as missionaries in 2005. If you want a listen click here. Here are a few pictures of the DTS class we are helping with. Curt got to instruct on baptisms - water & Holy Spirit! It was awesome to see the Jesus touch these young people. The "clothing" with power" was awesome!    Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel. Curt & Holli are preparing to head to the Philippines next month. If you would like to parcipitate, we need to raise some significant funds over the next few weeks for this project. (Giving details to the right.) We will be doing three things: 1. Helping the students above in the outreach phase of their DTS as they come into the Philippines. 2. Holding meetings with YWAM, business, and church leaders in the Philippines to lay some ground work for IWT coming to that nation. 3. Visiting mercy ministries such as orphanages for potential work in the future. B. If you need or want a tax deduction - from our base's accounting department:
1) make checks payable to "YWAM".
2) Please write their name on a separate piece of paper or sticky note as follows "for the support of ...(full name of missionary) in ...(city & country)"
For U.S. citizens this is very important as the IRS will not consider it as a donation to our non profit organization if the person's name is on the check & thereby the gift will not be considered tax deductible.

Try to get checks to us by the 24th or the previous Friday if the 24th is on a weekend. Any check received after the 24th will be processed on the 1st of the following month. We will mail you a receipt once the check has been processed.
