YWAM Kona

University of the Nations

The YWAM Kona base is the most attended base in the organization. Along with running DTS (Disciple Training Schools) it conducts many other schools, along with degree programs.

We, the Johnsons, completed and advanced school there in the winter quarter of 2008. It was a great experience. In addition to the school training, being there allows you to get a bigger picture and feel for the whole organization. Loren & Darlene Cunningham are there, and most of the international leaders of YWAM come through.

Like most of the rest of YWAM though, training on support raising isn't addressed at a significant level, so you are encouraged to utilize this site and take the initiative to for your own support raising training.
YWAM Kona is a "must do" place for any long term YWAMer to at least visit, if not to do an advanced school there. Your vision and faith will be built up, which will empower and motivate your fundraising efforts!
