PostCards

Postcards are a quick, cheap, and easy way to stay connected to your subscribers and it has a lot of "bang for the buck!" When one of your subscribers gets a card from you from a foreign country, they feel special: "Wow, look who sent me a card from Africa!" Take the few minutes and few dollars when you are in a foreign country to send some from there, especially if it is not the country you normally are based out of. Of course do it from there once in a while also!

Another way in which to send cards to people in the USA is through our favorite tool - Send Out Cards

The reason we love this service is that you can send cards to a group of people all at the same time, personalized with their name, and YOUR handwriting and signature!* With a few clicks of a button on-line you can send as many as you want. For example, maybe you have a dozen key supporters. In a couple of minutes you can send a bunch off to all of them on the list, addressed to them personally:

"Dear (their first name):

We are working on our outreach project here in Zimbabwe, and were just wanting you to know how much your support meant this month. We are able to accomplish our goals because you are on the team.

Thanks and blessings,

Curt"

It works much the same way as a merge file in a word processor, but the handwriting and signature is YOURS.

*This is an added service to Send Out Cards that you can sign up for. They will make a scan of your signature and also a font set in your handwriting. When someone receives a postcard or greeting card, it has the look and feel that it came right from you and your pen. I've used this service for over 2 years now. The first card I sent was to my mom. I figured if she couldn't tell the difference, it would be good. A few days later we talked on the phone. She got the card. She had NO idea how it was done. She was amazed when I explained the process to her. Even with those who do figure it out, I have found the value of the thought doesn't diminish the impact of getting a greeting card or postcard from me. The same benefit for all, but for the missionary fundraiser, relationship builder, it saves much time and money!
