So you feel called into mission work? Congratulations! Raising your financial aid and prayerfully developing a well thought out philosophy and game plan will be an integral part of your work as a missionary.

This site will give you lots of great information, tools, and ideas to raise your missions budget; but also we will spend some time on the ethics and philosophies of raising funds. There are many views on this, but what is important is that YOU feel GREAT about the way YOU decide to get support for your non-profit activities.

You will most likely be relating to churches - hopefully not just your own home church, but others also as you consider Church Fundraising ideas.

Tent making was made a legitimate component of raising support through none other than the Apostle Paul. We will look to see if this is an ingredient your financial aid game plan may consider - whether temporary, or as a part of your longer-term residual income plan.

For many missionaries, the bulk of our support comes from individuals and families. These friendships and prayer partners are vital in all that we do. We will take an in depth look at how the support raising equation involves our friends and/or family.

Hopefully we can get past looking at fundraising and fundraising ideas as a necessary evil on our journey. Once you have a biblically based philosophy that YOU feel good about, we will share more ideas and opinions formed after 25 years in full time ministry as a pastor and now a full-time missionary.
