Christian Mission Trips
We had been in full time ministry as pastors for many years, but it wasn't until our kids were a little older that we started going on short term Christian mission trips. We wish we had started sooner! For most American church-goers going on Christian Mission Trips may be the most effective way to truly understand this awesome Gospel we believe in. This site is dedicated to sharing tips and wisdom to missionaries raising their own support for their work. If you and your family, friends, or congregation are looking to take a Christian Missions Trip, I would encourage you to implement the principles and practices that are found in this site. Even if it is just a one-time event, by involving supporters for this adventure for you and your team, it will produce great benefits for both. For your team of Christian missionaries the additional funding will allow you to do more and be more of a blessing to those you go and serve. I remember one trip we went on to a poor area in Mexico, we were able to purchase the couple who ran a Christian orphanage a new and needed computer! For those who support, but can't go, it allows them the blessing of being a part of something to build the Kingdom. So - we are excited that you are looking towards taking a Christian Missions Trip. We encourage you to raise support from others, even if you don't need to! Their giving into your trip will also result in greater prayer covering also.
